Blasting is the process of smoothing and cleaning hard surfaces by propelling solid particles on that surface at high-speed using compressed air. Blasting can remove paint, rust and oxidative residues out of the material quickly and efficiently. We can use sand blasting to change the surface condition of metal, such as removing scratches or marks from castings. Blasting is a widely used cleaning method for more than 100 years. Sandblasting is also known as abrasive blasting. In principle, the sandblasting method is to force the movement of the surface abrasive material. Sand blasting is done with high pressure to smooth out rough surfaces for a smoother/adjusted surface to remove contaminants.
